Product Overview The RM 65-01 McLaren W1 is the 4th collaborative timepiece created by Richard Mille and British hypercar manufacturer McLaren.
Inspired by the McLaren W1 hypercar, this chronograph perfectly integrates racing aesthetics and advanced watchmaking technology, featuring striking racing tones and high-performance composite materials.
Case & Material The tonneau-shaped case draws design cues from the sleek lines of the McLaren W1.
It adopts a two-layer bezel structure: the upper layer is Carbon TPT® carbon fiber with one-of-a-kind grain on each watch case, while the polished Grade 5 titanium forms the lower layer, with the thinnest section only 0.5mm.
Chronograph pushers are crafted from Carbon TPT, and the titanium crown is wrapped in orange rubber for enhanced grip.
Dial & Design The skeletonized Grade 5 titanium dial replicates the wheel hub pattern of the W1 hypercar, styled like a racing dashboard.
Yellow accents decorate the hour, minute and small second hands at 6 o’clock.
The 30-minute and 12-hour chronograph counters feature orange details, and the tachymeter scale ring comes in blue.
A vertical date window sits at the 11 o’clock position.
Movement & Performance Equipped with the RMAC4 automatic winding movement, delivering a 60-hour power reserve.
The baseplate and bridges are made of Grade 5 titanium, supporting precise 1/10 second chronograph timing.
Strap Options The rubber strap is available in black and orange.
Its streamlined texture references the aerodynamic air vents on the hood of the McLaren W1 hypercar.
