This 40 mm Explorer reference 214270 is the latest release from EWE Factory.

It is equipped with the integrated Cal.3230 movement, internal engraved rolling serial code EA6R0001.

Unlike other versions available on the market, this movement is engineered without a calendar gear gap.

It is built following the original movement architecture, instead of a modified 2836 base, delivering smooth silent hand‑winding performance.

Many manufacturers have attempted this Explorer reference before, yet most struggled to replicate fine details accurately.

Inspired by fondness for this classic timepiece, EWE completed this dedicated 40 mm project.

Even though this model features a smooth bezel and solid steel bracelet, its production standard remains highly demanding.

The dial numerals require perfectly regular shapes, balanced surface finishing and tricky luminous filling work.
